TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
